Mark your calendars and make your reservations today as Stanford Financial presents the 35th annual Music City Tennis Invitational (MCTI). This exciting tennis event will be held at the state of the art Brownlee O. Currey, Jr. Tennis Center at Vanderbilt University on Saturday, April 19 through April 20 in Nashville, TN.
This charitable event, founded by the Nashville music community to help raise funds for the Center for Child Development (CCD) at Monroe Carell Jr. Vanderbilt’s Children’s Hospital, is the longest-running music-related tennis tournament in the country and is the only fundraiser for the CCD. The tournament provides an opportunity for doubles team tennis for players of all levels. Teams are assigned by level of play. Players may sign up with a friend, or be assigned a partner prior to match play. (Players under age 18 need Tournament Director approval.)
The event features a private pre-match Kick-Off Party, silent auction and Saturday night party. The weekend is packed full of activities and is guaranteed to be the hit of your spring calendar.
MCTI registration is $235. USTA members play for $195. A portion of the entry fee is tax deductible and includes: kick-off cocktail reception, loaded goodie bag, 2 days of tournament play (with breakfast and lunch), trophies to the winners, Saturday night party (with dinner and music by special guests).
The CCD provides screening, evaluation and referral services for children who are developmentally delayed or suffer from such learning difficulties as autism, mental retardation and attention deficit hyperactivity disorders. To learn more about the CCD, visit Child Development. |
